March 1, 2008 - Rio de Janeiro, Brazil - appearing and co-directing a concert staged at the famous Ipanema Beach celebrating the 50th anniversary of the first Boss Nova recording.
Among the participants will be Roberto Menescal, Carlos Lyra, Leila Pinheiro, Joao Donato, Marcos Valle, Maria Rita, Wanda Sa, Emilio Santiago, Bossa Cuca Nova, and Fernanda Takai.
June 4, 2008 - Hollywood Bowl, Hollywood, California - guest of Ivan Lins at the Playboy Jazz Festival.
September 3, 2008 - Hollywood Bowl - Musical director, performer and arranger for a night celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the Bossa Nova, featuring Oscar's band, special guests to be announced and the Hollywood Bowl Symphony Orchestra.
